We had an amazing time at this hotel. The location was perfect, with a beautiful Blue flagged sandy beach just steps away. We loved spending our days at the beach and enjoying the facilities of the beach bar. The room was clean and nicely furnished, with a clean bathroom. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast offered a good selection of tasty food. the hotel had a well-maintained pool with a bar, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.
That the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

Tasty breakfast, great location. The beach was sandy and adjacent to our hotel.

The breakfast was tasty and the pool was well-maintained with plenty of loungers to soak up the sun. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the nearby town with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also easy to find parking, either on the street or in the secure car park.
The aircon in the room was noisy and the Wi-Fi signal was hit and miss. Crossing the busy road to the pool could be a challenge for those with small children.

Hotel Canelas have very friendly staff who do their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are very clean and the maids are extermely friendly.The staff in the restaurant are very thorough during meal times, they have some English speaking staff. All staff from the Reception to the night security man are very polite and nothing is too much trouble for them.We had a very enjoyable stay at Hoetl Canelas.
Our only dissapointment is that the rooms have a cupboard with a lock for a fridge, but on request there were no firdges available for our party, only one room for medical purposes. I think to have fridges available to all gusets would be much more fevourable.

The hotel was extremely clean, with our room being immaculately cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially the breakfast staff. The location was excellent, with a beautiful Blue flagged sandy beach directly opposite the hotel. This hidden area also had an excellent golf course nearby.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I was truly impressed with the enhanced comfort and quality services it provided. the location on the outskirts of Portonovo was perfect, offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel also had its own swimming pool and beach access, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to assist with any requests I had. Additionally, the housekeeping service was outstanding, with my room being cleaned immaculately every day.
All in all, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel experience. The staff, the location, and the amenities provided were all top-notch.
